Alberton High learner receives provincial colours

Alberton High School’s Calvin van Staden obtained provincial colours in Gauteng under the South African Ryu-Kyu Martial Arts Federation (Sarmaf) banner.

He made his school proud after being invited to the Sarmaf National Championships.

Sarmaf is an affiliated member in good standing with Martial Arts South Africa (MASA), and MASA is a member in good standing with the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (Sascoc).

The championship will run from June 16 to 17 in the Free State.
