Cansa Shavathon hosted at Mall at New Market
Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) hosted its CANSA Shavathon at various shopping centres across the country on February 25, with certain venues also hosting events on February 26.
Cansa Shavathon participants had an opportunity to shave, spray and or donate towards cancer survivors.
The shavathon event saw both young and old take part. It was hosted at Mall at New Market on February 25 and was declared a massive success.
Volunteers managed to raise R2 740, excluding the Cansa donation tins.
“It was a very empowering and memorable day filled with enthusiastic volunteers of all ages that created an unforgettable atmosphere. The fundraising event was hosted for a great cause and we once again thank everyone for attending our fundraising event,” said volunteer Athena Neate.
