Local businesses uplift the community

Simply African Seed Company in partnership with other local businesses recently lent a helping hand to Alberton entities.

With the help of other entities, Simply African Seed Company spearheaded a heartfelt donation to local organisations.

Founded by Dr Simon Coetzee, the seed company strives to uplift and support local communities.

The seed company was established with a vision of providing households and commercial farms with local quality produced, organically grown, and Non-GMO.

Simply African Seed Company recently donated seeds to the place of safety, The Purple Willow.

The seed company also presented Alberton Bowling Club with winter and summer seeds consisting of fruits, vegetables and herbs. These were then handed over to the Memorable Order of Tins and Hats.

Rainbow Garden came on board to donate tools for the place of safety and Habibi Properties also made a small donation.

Prinesh Lutchman of the seed company said: “We believe that it is ultimately the simple things that make a difference to tackle food insecurity through seed donations. We strive to provide varieties in our ever-growing range, some of which are not commonly found, and are from an organic sustainable source in Africa in line with our motto.”
