Drug dealers are killing the youth

The drug problem in Eden Park is too big for the SAPS or the government - those two things put together can never win against what we are facing.

This letter has been written in the hope that the parent who wrote the first letter, and also parents whose kids are on drugs, and how their views on the drug dilemma at Eden Park is facing might be changed and broadened to look at the situation from another point. We need to look past the natural (the drug dealers) and to the real cause of the problem (satan) and how we need to find a solution.

Someone once said that the world is not as chaotic as it is because people do bad things. It is simply that the people who know what is right never stand up for the truth.

The drug problem in Eden Park is too big for the SAPS or the government – those two things put together can never win against what we are facing. Not because they are inadequate, but because we do not depend on God Almighty. Once we start looking to God, we will see God move mightily and setting everyone free from the darkness and the drugs.

Satan knows he is in power when he walks among a community divided. But he also knows the power of unity and how Eden Park will be delivered from its chains if we in Eden Park would unify in prayer and pray for every drug dealer and drug addict for deliverance. Because Eden Park is not ready to unite in prayer the enemy is winning and the youth is dying.

To the youth – wake up and smell the coffee – you are number one on satan’s hit list. Yes the parties are fun, the music is nice, the weekends are great. But in the meantime the youth is dying all around us. You can’t decide that once you have had enough that you will then accept Jesus as your Saviour. Please choose life and live even if you are addicted, Jesus can set you free.

As for the drug dealers: Ephesians 6:12 says that we are not fighting against flesh and blood. Therefore, instead of judging these people, let’s pray for change in their hearts and for them also to be delivered. Let us love each other and let us pray, also for the dealers.

I pray in Jesus’ name that God would speak to the people of Eden Park through this letter. Especially the parents, even if your child is not on drugs.

It is time that Eden Park stand together and get our youth, community and peace back. And this is something that only God in heaven can do and He wants to do it – we must just ask.

Nothing is impossible for our God. Even if we are facing this big giant, our God is bigger.

We win in Jesus’ name.

God bless

Concerned youth from Eden Park
