Alberton microlight crash leaves one dead
It's still unclear what caused the accident.
One died after a microlight crashed on Kromvlei Road near the corner of Kliprivier Drive and Swartkoppies Road.
The crash occurred this Friday morning, July 9.
According to Nana Radebe spokesperson for Johannesburg emergency services, they were notified of the accident at 09:49.
EMS responded swiftly and two firetrucks were sent to the scene.
“On their arrival, one person was found to have passed away from the accident,” she said.
The cause of the crash is currently undetermined, readers will be updated as soon as more information is received.
