Alberton High School student wins big

TRAFFORD David White, a 17-year-old Alberton member and Manchester United supporter, has won an all-expenses paid trip to Greater Manchester, England.

He won the prize by attending all the monthly meetings at the Manchester United Supporters Club in Balfour Park. Trafford’s plane card was randomly picked from around 50 of the other eager competitors during the beginning of March, and as the draw went on during a process of elimination, he was the last one standing. He ran up and hugged the person who drew his card.

Trafford is excited about the trip. Coincidentally he is named after the stadium in which he will be enjoying a full soccer match, tours and fun activities alongside his dad from April 30 until May 7.
