A sad loss

It is with huge sadness and a greater sense of loss to learn that Clem Kourie passed away at home on Monday April 7, following a brief but serious illness.

SOUTH OF JOHANNESBURG – Clem has been an incredible supporter of KlipSA and its initiatives, programs and projects which has been founded on his unbridled love and a lifelong work with the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve, especially as the Chairman of the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve Association, and the southern areas of Johannesburg.

As the founding Vice Chairman of the KlipSA Executive Committee his years of experience and wisdom have formed a solid and influential contribution to our efforts. In particular, his unwavering attention to the details of the administration, finances and management of the Association has played a major role in our establishment, growth and development for which we will always be grateful and thankful.

Our best wishes, thoughts and prayers are with his wife Pat and children Brian, Beverly and Jenny and their families at this time and we wish them strength and comfort in the coming days.

Andrew Barker

Chairman: Executive Committee
