Free space for vendors at Ormonde Shopping Centre
Ormonde Shopping Centre is offering free space to interested community members to host an open flea market every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am until late.
The centre, located at the corner of 18 Crownwood, Ormonde, houses some of the best tenant base, including SPAR (Halaal), Jimmy’s, Burgerack, Romans Pizza, KFC and Chicken Licken among others.
Sumit Ramluccan who represents Ocean Echo Properties at the centre, said Covid-19 has financially hit every South African in one way or another, some more than others.
“In an effort to try and uplift the communities in and around us, we have given South Africans the opportunity to make some money during these hard and trying times.
“As this is our initiative and a way of paying it forward, we are not charging the stall holders for the space. We have been running this campaign for the past four weeks and have seen significant attendance,” explained Ramluccan.
