Blood stocks critically low
It is only possible to meet the demand with the help of committed donors.
The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is calling eligible donors to give blood to boost the critically low blood stocks.
The appeal is particularly to new young blood donors and Group O donors because anyone can receive Group O blood.
Mobile blood drives have been scheduled around the country throughout the week. It is only possible to meet the demand with the help of committed donors.
