Free beauty skills development programme

This will be a second chance platform for those who want a better life.

South Africa is struggling to create employment which remains one of the big motivators or activators of crime as young people get bored and lack money to afford day to day essentials.

In light of this, Ellies Beauty Studio has come up with a free skills development programme to empower young people especially women with beauty skills. This include nail technology, eyelash extensions, make-up and hair extensions.

The aspiring beauticians will be empowered and enjoy practicals while preparing to either start their own businesses or be employed. There is limited space for aspiring beauticians.

The studio is looking for hard working individuals who have a passion for beauty. These include school dropouts and matriculants who are struggling to find work. There is no gender or age discrimination.

Those who complete the course will be placed at other Ellies Beauty Studio branches or may start their own businesses under the mentorship of Elizabeth Nchabeng from Crown Gardens, the founder of Ellies Beauty Studio.

“Further to this our graduates are referred to the NYDA for entrepreneurship workshops. Those who successfully complete will also get certificates of attendance,” said Elizabeth.

It is open now for registration until November 30.

Application forms are available at the nearest training centres and interested parties must submit a copy of their ID and CV. Training will be held in Braamfontein.

Interested parties may call or WhatsApp 076 540 9046 alternatively email elliesbeautystudio@gmail.com

Preference will be given to youth in the South and surrounding district.
