Collision in Glenanda leaves five injured
One had sustained a serious injury to his leg while four others had sustained moderate injuries.
Five people were left injured on August 20 evening when a bakkie and a taxi collided on Amanda Street in Glenanda, Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 6.46 pm to find that the taxi had come to a stop against a tree. The bakkie was found a short distance away.
Medics walked around on the scene, assessed the five patients, and found that one had sustained a serious injury to his leg while four others had sustained moderate injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
