Rewlatch Primary School says goodbye to a great man

He will be greatly missed by many, especially the staff and learners and he will forever have a special place in the school.

It is with great sadness to announce that Rewlatch Primary School has lost its beloved principal Rob Symons, who died on June 22.

Symons, who was born on April 8, 1963, started at Rewlatch Primary in 1997 as a senior teacher. He has been the principal at the school for the past 18 years, where he has made a great impact.

He was a great teacher, mentor and colleague to many. He has made a difference in not only the school but also in the lives of past and current learners, as well as teachers’ lives.

Symons was a very kindhearted and friendly gentleman. The teachers and learners had great respect for him.

He will be greatly missed by many, especially the staff and learners. He will forever have a special place in the school.
