Syndicate busted on Swartkoppies Road

It was discovered that the three suspects have been linked to several cases ranging from car theft to car hijacking.

Three suspects have been arrested earlier this afternoon, May 14 after a high-speed chase in the Randhart area.

“A suspicious vehicle was spotted and back-up was requested. The car then sped off jumping several red robots and was eventually stopped on Swartkoppies Road,” said Tyrone van der Merwe, sales director from CPS Security.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the three suspects have been linked to several cases ranging from car theft to car hijacking.

Officers found Toyota computer boxes, gloves, car breaking implements, and Toyota keys in the suspects’ vehicle.

“We have had an increase in Toyota Etios’s being stolen in the area. Feel free to send us your case numbers,” said Van der Merwe.

Suspects are being detained at Alberton SAPS.
