I am writing to express my disgust, concerning Meyersdal.
The attendant circumstances are as follows:
1) How many times must we carry on witnessing the beggars on Michelle Avenue urinating facing the street in view of children and adults? Surely there must be by-laws regarding urination in public and begging in the street.
However, I have been told nothing can be done against the begging because they are South Africans. What a lot of nonsense, because standing in the middle of the road is a violation of the law.
2) Another problem is the potholes in Kingfisher Crescent, which took six months before the potholes were fixed.
3) Elections are coming and all of a sudden grass on the side of the roads is being cut, speed humps and stop signs on the road are being painted, but as for the rest of the markings, nothing is done. Do they think the public is stupid? Meyersdal is a major embarrassment and a complete and utter mess.
It’s time that someone in power wakes up and fixes this mess. For the time being Meyersdal is becoming a small slum.
