Fourie vs Diamond reaches a deadlock
Deadlock - that is about the only way to describe back and forth accusations between the Diamonds and Fouries in the ongoing La Montanara saga.
ALBERTON – Last week the RECORD reported that the story about the Antionette Fourie interview was submitted to a number of parties for comment. Those parties met their deadline and their responses reached the RECORD in time for print.
However, comments received resulted in a number of unanswered questions, which now need to be answered by the Fouries. It would be unfair, to any party in this matter, to publish either side of the story, or even both sides of the story, without clarification on a number of accusations.
There are conflicting dates pertaining to the same events, documentation is in contradiction, parties never mentioned in the first stories are now part and parcel of the investigation. Added to the list of the RECORD’s investigation, are a number of people who will be interviewed by the RECORD to get to the bottom of this saga.
Although the RECORD is sitting with a number of unanswered questions, the matter will still be investigatigated and the readers informed.
