This was how the open piece of ground between Brackenhurst and Meyersdal was cleaned.
The rubble was collected and left in a pile. As they all gathered around the man he just finished cutting the grass with the tractor and parked in the corner halfway onto the pavement and it could have caused an accident.
It was about three o’clock and all the cleaners were gathering around the man with the tractor. Seems like they were only working half day and were waiting to be picked up.
The Ekurhukeni Municipality employed these cleaners and they should pay them salaries, not the public, and it is their duty to see that the town gets cleaned.
