When will this ever stop?
Yet another two beautiful trees were chopped off in Launceston Street, New Redruth. The previous weekend a well known garden service company was cutting off trees on the pavements.
They were confronted by a concerned resident and responded innocently that they were simply doing their job as instructed by the municipality. We as residents were absolutely devastated when hearing that the municipality was involved.
I took it upon myself to contact the municipality the next morning and was told that they were not aware of any instructions given as such. I would appreciate it if this shocking incident could be investigated and that the culprits could be brought to book.
Something must be done about the beautiful trees being chopped off for no reason in our area.
