KLIPRIVIERSBERG NATURE RESERVE – Saturday February 15 – Bird Walk at 06:30. Venue: Entrance Precinct, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park. Bring binoculars. RSVP via SMS to 083 267 3494 if you will be coming. Just type in: “bw” (birdwalk) followed by the number of people attending.
Saturday February 15 – Build a hamburger. Come and build a hamburger in the peaceful nature reserve and experience the quietness of the evening with family and friends. Time18:30, meet at Impala Gate South. Cost is R50. RSVP to Leabrash@Kolisa.co.za
Wednesday February 19 – Mid-Week walk organised for those with extra time. Start at 08:00, Entrance Precinct, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park.
Saturday February 22 – Citizen Science: The Klipriviersberg, a biodiversity treasure trove in Joburg’s backyard. Morné Brits will take a close look at all the information on plant and animal species in the nature reserve gathered over the last 30 years. Time: 09:00 at Entrance Precinct, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park. RSVP to Leabrash@Kolisa.co.za
Saturday February 22 – Saturday stroll. This is the chill event of the month. Come and make friends and get a bit of exercise. Time: 08:00, Entrance Precinct, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park.
Sunday February 23 – Sunday Guided Walk at 08:00. Meet at Entrance Precinct, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park.
