The Carwash at Rietvlei Zoo Farm launches fund-raiser for Amcare
By adding R5 to your bill at The Carwash at Rietvlei Zoo Farm you can help support Amcare.
ON July 30, Amcare, in partnership with The Carwash at Rietvlei Zoo Farm, launched a fund-raising initiative to benefit those Amcare supports.
Any patron who visits The Carwash can ask to add R5 to their bill which goes directly to Amcare.
The money will be used to fund Amcare’s initiatives in providing relief, support and empowerment to families in need, orphans, elderly residents or victims of domestic violence.
The idea was brought to The Carwash by an Amcare volunteer. “The lord has blessed and continues to bless us,” said Carla Callakoppen, the owner of The Carwash at Rietvlei Zoo Farm.
“Something like this is very close to my heart. We are here to give back to the community.”
Further along in the partnership between The Carwash and Amcare, the aim is to enable skills development and empowerment enabled by the Carwash for people dependent on Amcare.If you have your car washed at The Carwash at Rietvlei Zoo Farm be sure to ask to add R5 to help support Amcare and those they care for.
