Two killed in collision on R82 Vereeniging
The motorcyclists and the driver of the vehicle died in the accident
TWO people died as a restult of a collision on the R82 Vereeniging in the direction of De Deur.
At 4.45pm Wednesday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R82 Vereeniging.
Reports from the scene indicated a motorcycle and a light motor vehicle were involved in a collision.
Paramedics assessed the scene and found that the driver of the car, a 52-year-old female, sustained critical injuries.
The woman was resuscitated by paramedics from Netcare 911 as well as another service, but her condition rapidly deteriorated and she was declared dead on the scene.
The motorcyclist, an adult male believed to be in his 40s, had sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on scene.
All necessary authorities were on the scene.
