Boyfriend and baby luckily unharmed in Swartkoppies armed robbery

Will something be done or does someone has to lose a life before action is taken?

So my boyfriend and my six-month-old were held at gunpoint last night, May 16 at around 5.50pm at the Swartkoppies Road off-ramp.

Two guys approached him pointing the gun at the window and saying “give us your wallet or we shoot you and the baby”.

I am so angry as after he gave them his phone and watch since he did not have a wallet, they walked away as if they are untouchable.

What angers me is that there are cameras on the bridge – an R5-million contract that doesn’t even work.

Even though both are fine they are scarred emotionally and it will take years to recover from such a trauma.

Will something be done or does someone have to lose a life before action is taken?
