Sign in Alberton defaced and has excrement hanging from it

Residents of Alberton have raised concerns about the no-turning sign on the bridge over the N12 on Voortrekker Road.

RESIDENTS of Alberton have raised concerns about the no-turning sign on the bridge over the N12 on Voortrekker Road.

The sign’s turning arrow has been removed and replaced with a vulgar image. To make matters even worse, an unknown individual has attached excrement to the pole with a piece of wire.

Residents are concerned about what this vandalism will do to the image of Alberton.

No reply has been received from the metro at the time of publication as to what is being done about the condition of the sign.
