Alberton SAPS members jump in to clean the station

Because Alberton Police Station does not have cleaners or gardeners, SAPS members took the task of cleaning upon themselves.

MEMBERS of the SAPS at the Alberton Police Station initiated a Clean Up the Station Day on February 13.

According to the Alberton police’s support commander, Lt Col Heynf, the station does not have cleaners, so the crime fighters took the task of cleaning up the station upon themselves.

Police officers did some gardening inside the station premises and outside on the pavement, mopped the floors, swept and picked up papers on the premises.
