Fund-raiser for Grace Trinity’s Drum Majorette team

Show your support by buying tickets.

VOLUNTEERS and parents are trying to help sell tickets for the Grace Trinity Drum Majorette team for their upcoming fund-raiser at Barnyard Theatre at Gold Reef City.

They are trying to sell 390 tickets for the show, Rocking the Globe, which will take place on March 15.

Rocking the Globe will take you rocking all over the world to more than 15 musical destinations.

Tickets cost R200 per person and the show will start at 8pm. Deadline for bookings is February 16.

The main aim of the event is to raise funds for the team as they will compete in the Samca National Championship in East London from June 24 to 28.

More about the Drum Majorettes:

The majorettes began at Grace Trinity in 2014. They began competing in the President’s League in 2015 where they achieved the first place at the South African National Championships.

The primary school was then promoted to the Elite League where they were bronze medallists in 2016 and 2017.

In the 2019 Majorette season, the primary school will once again be competing in the Elite League.
