Uniclox collects bras for ladies in need
Uniclox would definitely want to do this again next year.
UNICLOX, thanks to the wonderful support of women in the community, recently collected 267 bras for ladies in need.
These gently used bras, along with some other clothes and hygiene products, was collected from Uniclox by a representative of ZAbra, to be distributed to the Kindness Like Confetti initiative and the handover took place on September 7.
Kindness Like Confetti is a registered non-profit organisation based in Linden, Johannesburg. They run four projects, one of which includes collecting and distributing bras to women who can’t afford their own.
The ZAbra representative, Rebecca Kemp Pogir, was pleasantly surprised at the number of bras that Uniclox managed to collect from kind community members. She commented: “This is amazing. There are even bras in here with their tags still on. It’s beautiful.”
On behalf of Uniclox, Marelize Templeman, marketing and training executive of the company, said: “Our company would definitely want to do this again next year. We really want to become more involved and do more good deeds for the community.
“Most importantly, we are extremely grateful towards everyone who contributed to this and we would really appreciate the public’s support again, however they can help,” she concluded.
