A RESIDENT recently complained about the spelling mistake of Phantom Street in Swartkoppies near Lemon Tree Shopping Centre.
The name was spelled ‘Phatnom’.
After the RECORD asked for comment from Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) the problem was fixed. “The City of Ekurhuleni would like to thank the public for bringing this to the city’s attention. The incorrectly spelled street name sign has been replaced,” said Themba Gadebe, spokesperson from EMM.
The resident also thanked EMM for the response and for the new board.
