Dreamcatcher workshop was tranquil therapy

THEY never thought they would be able to give their creativity freedom and be able to create colourful dreamcatchers.
But at a workshop held at a home in Elizabeth Eybers Street on June 16, the women attending surprised themselves. Sue Alexandré and Michelle Fegen of Alberton-based MS Creations, host workshops regularly and they describe it as a great way to relieve stress and meeting new friends.
Those attending got their DIY kits and was taken through the process of making their own dreamcatchers step-by-step while soft background music was playing, setting the tone for a tranquil, therapeutic morning for everyone.
They look forward to hosting more workshops in the future, where themes will include ‘tree of life’ sun catchers, advanced dreamcatchers and paper-quilled mandala tea light candle holders among others.
