Don’t let your dog get poisoned

The Brackendowns SAPS is also hosting a lecture on what to if your dog is poisoned.

SEVERAL cases of dog poisoning have been reported in the Verwoerdpark area on Jim Fouché, Collin, North and Van Reenen streets.

To ensure the safety of your dogs be on the lookout for any abnormal substances in your yard, especially any meat. If at all possible try to keep your dogs at the back or indoors to limit other people’s access to them.

CPF members, as well as security companies, will increase their patrols in the area. If you see any suspicious behaviour or people please contact the CPF control room emergency number on 076 105 0859 or phone your security provider.

The Brackendowns SAPS is also hosting a lecture on what to if your dog is poisoned. The lecture will take place at 11am on May 19 at the Brackendowns Police Station. There are no costs for attending the lecture and all are welcome.
