Event organiser Leigh Barnsley, from Two The Core Events, said, “We are excited about having Rietvlei Zoo Farm as the preferred venue for the Over The Moon series in the South and Group 1 Nissan The Glen as our main sponsor. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

The MTB cyclists enjoyed the technical Rietvlei Trail, with well-known cyclist Sean O`Flynn-Madden coming in first.

The Trail Run entrants warmed up with an energetic Viva Fitness trainer at the starting line and were kept entertained by renowned MC Steve Saunders.

“It is wonderful to see entrants of all ages participate. It really is an event for the whole family,” said George Stegmann, dealer principal of Group 1 Nissan The Glen

Group 1 Nissan The Glen also announced the “big reveal” for the Nissan Experience Golden Ticket lucky draw.

“The Nissan Experience prize will be a three-night 4×4 Sani Pass adventure for two in a Nissan Navara, including accommodation, breakfast and dinner,” revealed Tandi Potgieter, marketing consultant to Group 1 Nissan The Glen.

The crowd were elated as every entrant received a golden ticket to go into the lucky draw. The winner will be announced at the final event on June 1.

The co-sponsors that contributed to the success of the event were Viva Gym Oakdene, Herbalife (Look Good Feel Good, Springs), Calco Café Pizzeria, Meat Gallery, Grritt, Elegant Foil, Stuf, Bitcoin101, Ola and Tom Tom.
