Get behind Joburg South’s top 100 semi-finalist

Her journey began as a Top 100 semi-finalist on March 2 where she was invited, along with the other beautiful, sophisticated and married women from all over South Africa.

TANDI Potgieter from Johannesburg South has been announced as a Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa Top 100 semi-finalist for 2018, out of a record number of entries received by the organisation.

Her journey began as a Top 100 semi-finalist on March 2, where she was invited along with the other beautiful, sophisticated and married women from all over South Africa, for the first-ever National Casting and Empowerment Workshop held at Emperors Palace, to help them prepare for the journey ahead.

Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa is a journey that has gained the reputation as a women-empowerment programme and prides itself on producing the very best in real, relatable and modern South African women. The programme celebrates marriage and the essence of being a real woman and was created for married women who would ordinarily not have such a platform to compete and be ambassadors for South Africa, on a global scale. The opportunities and platform that have been created for Mrs South Africa entrants are significant in every way and truly creates a ripple effect across our beautiful country. Through the journey of Mrs South Africa, women find themselves again and learn they are never too old to follow their dreams and become voices of change.

“This is an incredible journey of empowerment, opportunity and sisterhood. I feel very privileged to be a part of this life-changing empowerment programme that aligns so closely with my values,” said Tandi Potgieter, founder of Empowering You SA.

“My goal is to inspire all women in South Africa, especially those in my age group, to know it is never too late to strive to achieve new goals, embrace every opportunity and say yes to life.”

Being involved in the community is important to Tandi. She has pledged as a partner to the A Re Sebetseng Clean-up campaign.

“Join me in cleaning up our community on the third Saturday of every month. Together we can.”

Meeting points are at Rietvlei Zoo Farm and Group 1 Nissan Renault The Glen from 9am to 11am.

Only 25 lucky women will be selected to continue the journey as finalists for Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa, who will be announced at the Annual Charity Ball on June 29 at Centre Court, Emperors Palace.
