SUPPORT the Lions Club fund-raising this festive season by purchasing a Christmas cake.
The plain one kilogram fruit cake (boxed) will cost R100 and is available from Facades Hair Design, Comaro View Shopping Centre, Bassonia, The Steaming Mug Coffee Shop, Alberton Crossing, corner Helston and Clinton roads, Alberton or at Café La Plume, 17 Joan Road, Glenanda (phone Tracey on 083 442 2586). Celebration Christmas cakes
With the Lions Club celebrating its centenary – 100 years of community service – specially iced Lions Christmas cakes will be available for R250 from the Glen Shopping Centre, Pick n Pay entrance nine, between 10.30am and 4pm on December 16 and 17. Come along and buy your iced cake and choose your own cake decorations made by SA Icing Guild to decorate the top of the cake. The iced Lions Christmas cake will make a wonderful gift for family and friends alike.
By purchasing either the plain fruit cake or the specially iced cake you’ll be supporting the Lions Club in its endeavour to carry on its great community work.
