In February the annual Business League took place at Alberton Bowling Club. One of the participants was BMW Instrumentation and Electrical. After three rounds these wonderful people decided that they would like to do something for the community and promised to erect floodlights at the main green of the club.
After consultation with management preparations commenced and on Friday October 25 the lights were switched on for the first time. This is indeed a milestone in the history of the club and opens up the possibility of many evening events.
Alberton Bowling Club thank BMW Instrumentation and Electrical for this extremely generous gesture. The official opening will be later in November when that green is fully operational.
An evening tournament will be run over four weeks in January 2014 and big prize money has been donated by BMW Instrumentation and Electrical.
