Book your pet’s kennel now

Alberton SPCA can help you with this.

ALTHOUGH it’s only September, people are already booking their slots at our kennels for the festive season in December.

You cannot leave dogs and cats without care and it is important to make suitable arrangements in advance as kennel spaces get booked up quickly. If you are planning to go away, please ensure you have made suitable plans for the care of your pets.

It is important you get your pet booked in early to ensure you are not disappointed. “We only have limited space at Alberton SPCA,” Vanja Ingold told the RECORD.

To board your pet at Alberton SPCA you must become a member of the SPCA at a cost of R50 per annum. When you board your pet you must ensure their vaccinations are up to date as proof will be required by the boarding kennel/cattery in question. Vaccinations must be done at least 10 days prior to their entry into the kennels otherwise we have the right to refuse the pet in question admission.

“If you wish to book a place, please contact the office on 011 907 1568 or alternatively come into our offices in Lincoln Road, General Alberts Park to complete the necessary paperwork. A 50% deposit is required for all boarders with the balance paid on admission.”

“Please don’t leave your pet arrangements to the last minute or get angry with the SPCA because we cannot accommodate you. Please plan ahead and remember your pets give you unconditional love 365 days a year so please show them the same respect,” Ingold said.
