It’s time for the Soapbox derby

The bi-annual Dare 2 Dream Soap Box Derby.

TIME to dust your carts off, run 10km a day and start eating a healthy diet.

The bi-annual Dare 2 Dream Soap Box Derby is taking place on September 23 in Eeufees Road, Walkerville, starting at 10am. This fun-filled day is a must for anyone in the Walkerville area and there are tons of competitors and spectators from as far afield as Benoni.

The organisers are changing the format slightly this year as the children just love riding down the steep hill with the wind in their faces. You can enter your children for a ride on a cart or you can bring your own fun cart and in this event anything goes.

Adults not into the whole crash-and-burn racing thing can bring their own fun carts for a ride down the hill and to have some fun. Due to time constraints you need to pre-enter children and carts by September 17 by phoning 082 466 6457 or emailing rtct@netactive.co.za.

Refreshments will be on sale and some awesome raffles. It’s just a great day out with the Walkervillians in the fresh air and sunshine.
