Early morning crash leaves traffic at a standstill

A collision between a red Polo and a white bakkie just a few meters from the Voortrekker Onramp, left traffic at a standstill this morning, August 4.

Traffic was at a standstill all the way from the Comaro Offramp up until the Voortrekker Onramp. All four lanes were affected.

Drivers of both vehicles were transported to hospital. It is unclear how severe their injuries were.

Traffic police, ER24 emergency services and tow trucks are on scene.
