THREE men were arrested in Olivine Street after law enforcement authorities spotted their suspicious behaviour and searched them, on May 19.
The suspects, who are between the ages of 25 and 30, were found in possession of house break-in equipment.
The authorities also discovered that the car the men were driving had been stolen during a recent robbery in the Florida area.
EMPD, CPS Security and Alberton SAPS were on the scene.
“They are being detained in the Alberton police cells for further questioning,” said Captain Manare Ramotshela from Alberton SAPS.
