Plastispray sets new world record
A new world record was set when 25 female dancers were put into a Mini Cooper... with a teddy bear.
Wes Boshoff and Andrew Cloete started Plastispray Customs Vehicle Skins together sharing an interest for cars… true petrol heads with a love for how cars make them feel.
Wes Boshoff is a Richard Branson (founder of the Virgin Group of more than 400 companies) Entrepreneur and made the Guinness World Records when they squeezed 25 female dancers and a teddy bear into a classic Mini Cooper.
Sir Richard Branson was there to close the door of the Mini as the 25th person got into the car! Plastispray made the Guinness World Record book for 2013, although the book will only be on shelves at the end of the year or in 2014.
The previous world record was set at 23 people into a mini. Wes is hoping that in a year from now their record will not be broken, if not they will host an evening of celebration looking back on what nobody else could do.
The projects started with Virgin Mobile launching their new shop in Braamfontein, a great idea followed and the Mini was built as a fully functional photo booth for the shop, although the photography equipment had to be removed for the world record.
Wes and Andrew have only been open since January and already they are breaking records and customizing many vehicles and motorbikes… corporate and personal.
