The Expo will be at the Glen on May 26 and 27 so diarise the date!
THE Student Expo, which is designed to provide current and prospective students with the necessary tools to succeed in finding tertiary education, will be coming to The Glen.
The Expo also guides students towards a suitable working career and targets more than 1000 private and government students. At the Expo, prospective students will be able to meet with representatives from a wide range of universities, technikons, FET colleges and other tertiary institutions, to determine which school and programme best meets their needs.
They will also gain insights and career advice from leading field specialists to better understand the expectations and roles of their potential professions. The Student Expo aims to feed students with valuable knowledge to make educated decisions regarding their future, through discussions and presentations. Prospective students can also learn how to secure student loans. They will get advice on how to manage their finances when living away from home, whether or not they should take a gap year, and will be able to share information with other school-leavers and parents.
The Expo will be at The Glen on May 26 and 27, so diarise the date! It will take place from 09:00 to 15:00.
