Events at Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve
A couple of dates all nature lovers should diarise!
JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Nature lovers should diarise the following events taking place at Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve during October.
*Enviro Club camp fire – October 12 from 17:30 to 20:00.
Bring the family and enjoy the evening. Toast marshmallows and baked potatoes on the fire. Bring snacks, picnic rugs etc. Book with Lea Lea@kolisa.c.za or phone Beth 011 681 6016.
*Spring walk – October 13 at 08:00.
Walks by specialists in archaeology, botany, ecology, geology and heritage. A donation of R20 per person or maximum of R50 per family will be appreciated. Join them for the bring and braai after the walk at the Silent Pool, Fradaph Drive, Mondeor.
*Mid-Week Walk – October 16 at 08:00.
This is for those who are able to spend time in nature during the week. Meet at the entrance precinct, Peggie Vera Road, Kibler Park.
*Bird Walk – October 19 at 06:30.
If you want to join this walk, please register via SMS to 083 267 3494 – just send ‘bw’ followed by the number of people attending. Meet at the entrance precinct, Peggie Vera Road, Kibler Park.
*Saturday Stroll – October 26 at 08:00.
Come and enjoy a relaxed morning strolling through the reserve in the company of friends and family. Meet at the entrance precinct, Peggie Vera Road, Kibler Park.
*Guided Walk – October 27 at 08:00.
Join them for the fourth Sunday walk. Meet at the Silent Pool,. Frandaph Drive, Mondeor.
