New sponsor on board for cricket team

Emperors Palace to sponsor the Titans for two years.

THE Titans have announced that Emperors Palace will be one of their main sponsors for the 2016/2017 cricket season.

Emperors Palace has entered into a two-year sponsorship deal with the Centurion-based Titans cricket team as official accommodation and entertainment partner. As current T20 Slam and Sunfoil Series champions, the team has produced outstanding players who are also representing the Proteas in many formats of the game. These players include Faf du Plessis, AB de Villiers, Chris Morris, Farhaan Behardien, Quinton de Kock, Dean Elgar and Tabraiz Shamsi.

“Emperors Palace is delighted to partner with this fantastic cricket franchise. South Africans and Pretoria residents are crazy about sport in general, and these cricket fans are especially passionate and loyal to their teams. We enjoy a lot of support from the Tshwane area and think this is a natural tie-up. As the home of boxing and proud hospitality and entertainment partner of the SA Open golf event, the Titans partnership is fantastic – and from one winning team to another, Peermont, the owners of Emperors Palace, are looking forward to this journey and have some fun activations planned,” said Mark Jakins, Peermont Group marketing and regional operations executive.

The Titans are considered one of the premier domestic cricket teams in the country. “We are pleased to have the Peermont Group on board and we look forward to building the partnership,” said Jacques Faul, chief executive officer of Multiply Titans.
