Toastmasters say good-bye to a beloved friend

A note was found on the dead body of a soldier in the First World War; it read:
“The best thing in the world is a friend and the second best thing in the world is another friend.”
“Alberton Toastmasters Club members paid tribute to Athol Nicol at his memorial service, held on Wednesday, October 19,” says Ronnie Martin a fellow Toastmaster.
“Friendship cannot be calculated or weighed, therefore we as members, want to say thank you for your friendship Athol,” added Martin.
Athol lost his battle with cancer after he had been in remission for nearly 16 years.
