Brackendowns Police bust alleged drug dealer

The Brackendowns Police arrested a suspected drug dealer recently.

THE Brackendowns Police arrested a suspected drug dealer on Thursday, September 22 at about 15:00.

Brackendowns SAPS task team members, together with CPF, D&D, Fox and 4th Dimension was busy with special operations, doing stop and search and high vicinity patrols when they got a tip-off about a man in a black Audi dealing in drugs.

After spotting a car that fit the description at the corner of Vaal Road and Klipriver Road, they stopped and searched the vehicle and found crystal meth to the value of around R10 000 (street value) and a 32-year-old Nigerian national was arrested and detained at Brackendowns SAPS and appeared at the Palm Ridge Court on Friday, September 23.
