Well done Alberton Figures

Alberton Figures Modelling and Talent Academy performed well in the National Student Model of the Year Competition in 2015.

THE weekend of December 4 to 6, 2015, featured the event of the year for the Figures Modelling and Talent Academy nationally.

This saw 72 contestants from the Alberton branch participating with 16 branches in the National Student Model of the Year Competition at the Roodepoort Youth Theatre. Students and teachers work towards the competition throughout the year which features three main divisions: the fashion model, ramp skills model and commercial model. Each division is further divided into different age and gender groups.

Alberton Figures models achieved 32 top scorer positions throughout the weekend and models received the following places:

Girls two-six years:

Shanika Laher: third place (second princess) for ramp skills division.

Antigua Magua: third place (second princess) for commercial model division.

Boys two-12 years:

Tayden Camacho: winner commercial model division.

Girls 10-12 years:

Carmen Nepgen: second place (first princess) for ramp skills division.

Girls 13-15 years:

Cassy Glad: third place (second princess) in fashion model division.

Boys 16 years and older:

Leon Randall: second place in the commercial division.
