VIDEO: Two die in separate accidents on R59
In an incident on Friday evening, November 6, a vehicle collided with and landed underneath a truck.
TWO fatal accidents have taken place on the same stretch of road in just over 48 hours.
On Friday evening, November 6, a passenger was killed on impact when the vehicle he was travelling in collided and landed underneath a truck on the R59-freeway and Kliprivier Drive interchange just after 22:00.

The driver of the truck allegedly tried to reverse after he had missed the offramp.
Kevin Peel, spokesperson for National Paramedical Services (NPS), said the driver of the vehicle was transported to the Natalspruit Hospital in a serious condition. The truck driver was unharmed but in shock.
Brackendowns Community Policing Forum members were on the scene to redirect traffic.
Yesterday, November 9, a pedestrian was killed on impact after being hit by a vehicle as he was trying to cross the R59-freeway and Kliprivier Drive in peak traffic at about 06:50.
Sergeant Lindile Moloi, spokesperson for the Brackendowns Police Station, said they are investigating two cases of culpable homicide.
