ALBERTON — Keep your raincoats in hand as the South African Weather Service (SAWS) is predicting a rainy afternoon for today, October 15.
Kgomoselo Mahlangu, a weather forecaster at SAWS, said residents of Alberton can expect a 30 per cent chance of rain which will be combined with the possibility of severe thunderstorms, hail and strong winds.
A good 30 per cent chance of thundershowers can be expected for tomorrow, October 16.

Chances of rain will continue until Sunday when only a partly cloudy day is expected.
Temperatures for today are expected to reach a high of 29 degrees Celsius.
Mahlangu said Alberton’s temperatures for tomorrow will range from a minimum of 13 degrees Celsius and a maximum 28 degrees Celsius.
