Brackenhurst Optometrist looks forward

ALBERTON – Brackenhurst Optometrists is a professional optometrist service facility with two full-time optometrists and secure on-site parking. They are contracted to medical aids, including Discovery, and offer budget friendly and pensioner packages as well.

The practice has been in operation with Michelle Atkins since 2010 and provides affordable vision care services and other additional services such as glaucoma screenings. Driver’s license screenings and screenings for children up to the age of 10 are done free of charge.

Michelle qualified in 2004 and has been working in Alberton since 2007.

Izak Scholtz joined the practice recently. He received his qualification in 2003 and has been working in Alberton since 2009.

Together they offer professional eye examinations done with the latest digital technology which include a wide variety of visual tests with better contrast and dimensions than older testing aids. Michelle and Izak have a special interest in child vision and hard contact lenses and work closely with other healthcare professionals in these fields.

Their products also include a generous selection of branded and generic frames, contact lenses and specialized prescription lenses.
