Jacob’s Well offers sewing classes at a minimal costs
Jacobs Well, a charity organisation is offering sewing classes for only R50 a month starting this Thursday. June Lottering will teach the class and all cotton and material is supplied.
ALBERTON- Jacob’s Well, a charity organisation, is offering its first sewing class starting this Thursday, at Revival City.
June Lottering will teach basic as well as more advance techniques, depending on the applicant’s skill level. Classes are from 09:00 to 12:00 every Thursday, at 120A McBride Street, Brackenhurst.
The cost of the classes is R50 per month and the money will be ploughed back into whatever materials are needed for the classes, such as cotton or material. Jacob’s Well does not financially benefit from these classes and the aim is to uplift the community.
All cotton and material is supplied. Ladies are welcome to bring their own sewing machines and scissors as Jacob’s Well has a limited amount. Anyone interested can contact Estelle Bickerton on 011 867 3322 or 082 343 7281 or Venisia van Greenen on 082 472 6208.
