Alberton Figures go international

Alberton Figures Models and Talent are taking on New York City and will be competing in the Annual International Model and Talent Convention in July.

Members of Alberton Figures Models and Talent are going to New York in July, to attend the IMTA – the annual International Model and Talent Convention.

The Alberton group this year is larger – with a total of eight contestants – and more diverse, with models and actors taking part. They are all very excited and are hard at work preparing for their various categories, attending weekly workshops and practising their lines or walks.

The IMTA Convention gives aspiring models, actresses, song writers, singers and dancers the opportunity to be seen by casting agents and to be scouted.

The convention runs for one week and those invited compete on runways, stages and in front of cameras, both in live and recorded competitions.

They also have the opportunity to attend workshops and seminars offered by industry experts.

With over 100 contestants from South Africa attending the event, it promises to be an interesting and competitive 10 days in New York.

Alberton Figures wishes the contestants every success and hopes that all their hard work pays off.
