Kids collect stationery for charity

Junior College Castillian, in Meyersdal, has once again launched its annual stationery drive.

ALBERTON – Since staff members understand the need and value for education, they are appealing to pupils and parents to support this drive which is in aid of Home Elsa in Meyersdal, Alberton.

This project supports underprivileged children and, in doing so, equips them with the tools they need for school. The stationery list includes; wax crayons, blue and black pens, erasers, glue sticks, pencil cases, A4 exercise books, sharpeners and much more.

“We are humbled by the support that we received from our junior college community. Human kindness has touched our souls, while our little ones, together with their parents, touched those children in need, with their generosity,” says Trudie Gilmore, principal of Junior College Castillian.

If people are willing to show their support and contribute stationery for this worthy cause, please contact on 011 867 4037.
