Playgroup sets challenge
Owner of the playgroup Willie Bee, Annette Dean, is challenging all other playgroups and nursery schools in the area to match or better this donation.
ALBERTON – The Willie Bee playgroup in Randhart recently donated food items, to the value of R5 000, to AMCARE Centre of Faith, Hope & Love.
Owner Annette Dean is now challenging all other playgroups and nursery schools in the area to match or better this donation.
“AMCARE’s general manager, Percy Howroyd, made a plea at our church for help and I thought to approach parents of the little ones in my group to come forward and donate some food. The response was incredible and I just think it would be wonderful if other playgroups come on board,” said Annette.
AMCARE is situated in New Market Park and is a registered NPO with the Department of Social Development.
